What is Pho?

Pho is a Vietnamese beef noodle-soup! If you don’t know what Pho is, you might be living under a rock. This savory soup might be one of the most well-known dish in the Vietnamese culture. There are many ways to order, but my favorite is the Dac-Biet which is basically everything on it. You might even say the Dac-Biet is the supreme pizza of pho.

Pho Midway

This restaurant is a little north of Dallas, and you can find plenty of Vietnamese dishes that you wouldn’t find at other restaurants. Some of these would be the Thit Kho, Ca Kho, and Ban Xeo. Although their pho tastes standard, it still hits the spot and definitely cures a hangover after a night out. Another special thing that Pho Midway has over other restaurants is their sugar cane drink, the Nuoc Mia, which goes hand in hand with almost every dish.
